At rAge Expo 2019, the Streamer Zone was a big hit among fans. It brought together some of South Africa’s well-known content creators, live streaming from the custom-designed streamer booths. This year the Streamer Zone may not be occupying a physical space, but there will still be loads of cool content – and a few giveaways too.

Full stream ahead

The rAge Streamer Zone, powered by Mettlestate, features a carefully selected talent line up of 25 well-established and up-and-coming streamers, who will be doing a series of two-hour streams over the course of the weekend. The content to be streamed will be widely varied, with a lot on the cards for Apex Legends fans and RPG enthusiasts, a variety of esports commentary and hype, design and creative content, tutorials and general geeky discussion.

Mettlestate’s Social media and Community Manager, Carly Twaddle, says, “For a lot of people, meeting up at rAge is one of the great highlights of the year. And in a time where we can’t be physically together, the Streamer Zone is a way for us to bond and stay in touch, even at a distance. We can still celebrate what rAge is all about by collaborating and interacting online and that’s the purpose of the Streamer Zone – to bring people together”.

The full list of who will be participating in the rAge Streamer Zone, along with a schedule of what times each streamer will be live, will be announced over the next few days on the Mettlestate social platforms and website.
